Corrections
How to report a wrong score, table or time, and how we fix it.
If a number on this site is wrong, it is worth reporting. Send the page address and what you expected to see to [email protected].
What we fix first
- A wrong score or half-time score
- A wrong position, points total or goal difference in a table
- A kick-off time shown in the wrong timezone
- A fixture or result attached to the wrong competition or matchday
- A team or player name spelled incorrectly
How a fix works
Data pages are generated, not hand-edited. A correction is made by fixing the underlying data or the rendering rule, then rebuilding the site. That means a correction applies everywhere the wrong figure appeared, not only on the page you reported.
Corrections to our own calculations
Form strings, streaks, home and away splits and point gaps are computed by this desk. If one of those is wrong while the underlying scores are right, the error is ours and we will say so on this page.
What we cannot correct
We cannot add facts our feed does not carry — goalscorers, line-ups, cards or injuries. Those are not omissions we can fix by editing.
