The pause is over. Serie A resumes on Friday 6 November, and the first fixture back sends Udinese to Venezia FC for a 2026-11-06T19:45:00Z kick-off on matchday 11.

The last league game before the break finished 0-3 in favour of Atalanta over Parma. A three-goal margin, no reply. That result leaves the table as it stands going into the restart, and nobody below the top six has been given a chance to close ground since.

At the summit, Lazio lead with 28 points from 1 and a goal difference of +16. Inter sit second on 25, three points back, with +13. Then comes the strange part: Roma are third on 24 despite owning the best goal difference in the division at +18. Fewer points, better margin. That is what dropped points in the right places looks like.

Como 1907 hold fourth on 23 and +10, one point clear of Milan on 21. Frosinone complete the top six on 20, level on goal difference with Milan at +10 but two points adrift.

Up front, Gustavo Varela of Monza leads the scoring charts with 9. Donyell Malen of Roma and Antonio Raimondo of Frosinone are tied on 8 and 8 respectively. Nikola Krstović has 6 for Atalanta, and Anastasios Douvikas of Como 1907 rounds out the top five on 5.

None of those names belong to Venezia FC or Udinese. The fixture is a meeting of two sides without a scorer in the leading group, which tells you where the goals might have to come from — and where they have not.

One match to restart a division. Will the top six look the same by the final whistle?
